no pictures for now, but that's because I just got my camera-to-computer cord today, and I haven't been taking enough pictures lately anyways.

but yesterday was valentine's day, frankly, I was surprised at myself. it was a great day. granted, I don't normally care one way or another about valentine's day: it is after all just another day. I don't mind that I don't have anyone to share it with yet, that'll happen at some point, but at the same time, with all the post about it that I read, I'm almost glad I don't have a boyfriend for such a day, because anything and everything could be taken out of proportion and then what would I have? a big confusing mess...

so what I did yesterday was.... what I do almost every tuesday, with a few minor changes to make it at least a more entertaining day than normal. I got flowers taped to my door by a friend! and that brightened my day, although i realized that any time I get flowers it brightens my day. I love getting flowers, from whoever, for whatever reason, at any point. I had decided to make valentines for my friends and random associates, but they didn't turn out quite how I wanted them to. they were really small, and kinda lame when I really looked at them, but I spent my lunch time making them, and giving and getting valentines in return from those sitting around me. I ate lunch with Deidra and Jokke, and they both gave me valentines, which were much more creative than those I had made....

but aside from going to class, and having a few more sweet things than normal, I really didn't think of it as any other day of the week. I even had a test that took 2 hours and drained me of energy, and spent 3 hours straight doing homework. that's more than I normally do, but i've decided that I want to get more of my homework done early so that I'm not rushing about like a chicken with it's head cut off the morning things are due. and in cutting out facebook, which I have realized is more addicting than more "deadly" stuff, I have time to do more things that I want to do, like read, or write letters, or do homework ahead of time.

I really did this post because I felt like I needed another one up, to prove to myself that I am still alive and doing cool things, although after a semester abroad, anything I write now seems a lot less.... cool. I have to up my ante for my new year's resolution to do something exciting every week. which reminds me, I should look up cool things to do this weekend so I can hang out with people and do something different from the normal weekend of homework, Dr. Who, and the occasional....something.
