Happy Pioneer Day!

At this school I feel like a pioneer. I have almost no clue what I'm doing or what is going on, and from what we've been told, all the coordinators and Chinese teachers are new too, so we are all trying to get used to each other and put on a good routine for the kids so they don't get too confused. They seem to be trying to undermine or overpower all of our details they don't see working the first day, like our call to attention and standing against the wall, setting the classrooms and seating charts up like how we want them, our reward system with ilp. It seems like they thought we would come and teach English but just conform to their every request. Our head teachers are fighting it, and the first day of teaching was more than a little hectic, but the past two days have been a lot  better, and as the kids get used to us and our systems, they are settling down.

As it is late and I'm tired and it's storming outside (lots of rain and lightning!!) I'm keeping this short, but here are some pictures and videos I took today.
