That time we traveled to England

Here in China we work for a group of schools that specialize in teaching English. We are are assigned to teach at the kindergarten in Shiqi, but the main school is actually the Bond Institute, which is located not far from our school. Because we had a plethora of teachers the last few weeks, they asked us to paint a room at the Institute, sending a few of the extra teachers over to paint every day for two weeks.

Allie and I were the first to start planning out and painting the room, and since they already had an American room, they wanted a different country. We decided on England because it is another English speaking country, and after America, I know the most about that to paint. We started drawing a telephone booth that first day, and the London sky line, and the next day when other girls went over, they started drawing one of those guards, a castle, and a map of England. They asked us to keep it colorful, and I think we did a pretty good job with that!
